Animal Well! Really enjoyed this. Exploration and puzzle based Metroidvania. For fans of things like Hollow Knight, Tunic, etc. Cliched, but the less you know going in the better. Doesn't take too long to complete the main game, but there is still tons to do afterwards.

get involved: access, environment, BMC / Re: Spad climbing

The same landowner who is content to have over a 100 dogs on a dog walking meet on a summers afternoon like we witnessed last May.

I'm sorry but some perspective is required here.

Is this false equivalence or a straw-man?

Rewatched Dredd on Film 4 recently, possibly one of the last decent action movies made? Solid 8/10

I also watched Rolling Thunder on Prime - apparently one of Tarantino’s favourite films 🤷🏻‍♂️- old school revenge thriller with psychologically complex characters. 8/10

An odd one - ‘All you need is Death’ Irish folk horror with body mod / dysphoria and occult themes. Low-Fi but entertaining 4/10

It’s hard to give a perspective without getting into the ethics. On a basic level of the landowner doesn’t want bolts and fixed gear placed, then it seems straightforward. Don’t place them.

Can anyone describe exactly what is installed?

Without letting slip the name of the venue, which I'm sure no one could possibly work out from what's been said.

just bring a digital camera with good metering, set it to the same iso, and use aperture priority mode. Take a test picture and double check the histogram. If it is good, set the camera to the same shutter speed

We climbed the classic low E grade route to get up there last summer and were pretty shocked to discover the via ferrata arrangement and the amount of fixed kit up there in general. My first reaction to seeing the UKC thread about the chopping was "good" to be honest, I'm inclined to agree with JB that if people want that tick, putting the work in to access the route without leaving fixed gear shouldn't be much of an additional hardship, and maintaining access should always be the top priority.

Collect from Sheffield (Netheredge) or Works.

That’d be perfect for my eldest if Bradders doesn’t want it.
