Title: DH within travelling distance of Chichester
Post by: bobkatebob on September 08, 2015, 12:10:07 pm
OK, it's not exactly the Alps but I have to deal with what I have been delt.

Does anyone know of decent places to DH within travelling distance of Chichester without having to stay overnight anywhere? (no van at the moment).

I've found 1 place that is very close, just to the north of Chichester but it looks rather basic/small and I was wondering if there is anything else.

Thank you  :clap2:

2 totally different places, but both could be very useful

Slindon is close enough to go on a wim at the last min, and for a day trip PORC looks decent. Think I might have looked at PORC years ago, if so it's changed a lot.

Stoughton has some downhill trails probably the ones you have already heard of, queen county park has a more xc type trail, there is also the uk bike park in dorset which is probably closer than porc but was up for sale recently so not sure of current status. Otherwise enjoy some xc on the downs
