Title: Any kid friendly singletrack routes / trails near sheffield?
Post by: Luthor on August 28, 2013, 04:17:29 pm: After a trip up to the 7Stanes my jnr's are now keen for more single-track biking and a bit dismissive of ex-railway line style trail routes...

Any recommendations for nipper friendly single-track in or around Sheffield. Needs to be beginner / blue trail type difficulty rather than anything too knarly!

Will try Sherwood pines but thinking there must be stuff closer to home (Sheffield?)

Only heard about Parkwood Springs this week so need to go and investigate (prob before letting the kids loose on it)!

Not heard of Clayton Vale either so thats on the list to check out too!

Lady Canning's is the plantation at the top of Ringinglow Road - on the way to Burbage/Stanage - about 8 minutes away (depending on where you live)

Have the trails been started in Lady Canning's then ?
