Title: 100 ans de escalade a les blocs de Fontainebleau
Post by: SA Chris on April 28, 2010, 10:58:40 am
(apologies for my awful french).

As it's 100 years ago (allegedly) that the "Groupe Rochassier" was formed, does anyone know if there are plans to commemorate the date in any way?

Be nice if there was a coffee table book produced, full of great photos, from the old B&W ones of the early days right through to modern day testpieces. Or does such a book already exist? French or English, I'm not bothered.

There's a tiny snippet of history in the purple circuits guide but it's not enough to satisfy my thirst for knowledge, I'd love to see a book about the antics of the bleausards!

I'd need to learn French first (or scan it in, digitise the text and parse it through Babelfish/Google Translate)  :P
