Title: Brussels bouldering walls
Post by: Andy B on February 28, 2015, 10:21:33 am
does anyone please know of any reasonable bouldering walls or boards in Brussels.
I've been to terre nueva (sp?) which was comfortably the worst wall I have ever been to, and don't have transport so can't get to city lizard or bleu in gent.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Cheers

I'd have thought there'd be good walls sprouting up all over the city...

I typed in "climbfind" and 8 came up. Not knowing where you're based it gets a little harder. Fwiw when I was in Las Palmas I couldn't find any walls on net, took a bit of searching to even find a shop that stocked climbing shoes. Went into shop and asked them about walls and got directed to one I wouldn't have found, which the owner gave me keys to so I could have morning sessions when they weren't open.

Dickhead. I could not climb for the full five months and still be better than you. ;-)

Trying a shop is a good idea. Of the eight or nine walls online, all the ones I've checked out are organised beginner group walls.

Oh easily. Be a good time for your injuries to settle, last I heard you only had one leg but won a 3 legged race comp only you didn't want to talk about it  :P

Don't know what you're on about, but I'm sure you're right.
Can't even find an outdoor shop less than an hour away.

Stone age in Kraainem or New Rock in Auderghem are both decent with easy metro access.

Cheers David. I've just been recommended Stone Age by someone else so I'll try there this week.
