What is the best area on Portland for low grade sport? And what's the best guide?

Depends how low grade, but the cuttings has quite a lot of good stuff. Blacknor is also fun!

ye def blacknorth north, reptile smile and all those, classic big 5+'s if that hoow low also some quality 6b's and a huge 6a arete the bigest route on the island at around 6a

avoid the 3's and 4's at the cuttings if you can, never been on them myself but they seem polished to hell.
there's some nice 5's down at Cheyne Weares by all accounts...

the rockfax guide is pretty good, ok there's a few bits out here and there but on the whole pretty good

Wallsend South - from 'Trad Free World' northwards theres a bunch at 6c and under and they're all brilliant. Check the tides and make sure you've got a 60m rope before going though!
