Hi All
Am in Bristol over the weekend(not climbing related) and will have some spare time on Staurday evening. Was just wondering if anyone has any idea of where the nearest reasonable bouldering might be as I will be on my own.
Failing that if anyone needs their rope holding on Sat evening let me know. Would be free. From 5pm ish.
Cheers
Dave

Isn't the Bristol Climbing Festival on this weekend?

What grimer said, there'll be no shortage of partners I'd think

Depends what you mean by local, and what you mean by reasonable, but if you really want boulder you're looking at a minimum 40 min drive to what I'd consider worthwhile (biblins cave; huntshams)

Thanks for the info! Had no idea the festival was on...

Which of the two is best? I'm going to have one free day down there in March.

Biblins is banned until May as bats roost there over the winter. So Huntshams.
-
And Huntshams is sandstone, right? So that's that sorted.

I may be a bit biased (my name is omitted from the developers :( ) but Sally in the Woods has some nice stuff a bit closer to Bristol if you are limited for time.

if you are stuck in Bristol and you want a quick bit sandstone fun then Merchant Venturers Compost heap is worth a visit if it is dry.
