Here's the quiz from the recent Peak AGM. Have at it.
The actual quiz also had a crossword for 10 points and a physical gear ID round for 9 points. Minus those there are 86 points available in total, 44 for lime, 42 for grit.

Correction, I got the G1 the wrong way round..
CBAD

It’s Dense.

Sorry I mean G11 Tierdrop, Neil Travers…
Ah yes. Was there a Chris Wright of that era who was red haired and looked a bit like Neil?
-
Yes.
I can't get the quiz to open though?

My favourite thread of the year. Was hoping to get there this year, but for a wedding.
L1 - Peaches, Nice n’ Sleazy for Gibson, struggling with a third (unless Golden Brown is a Peak Gibson route) - all the ones I can think of are Pembroke/Clywd.
L5 - Staden/Box, Dove Holes/Cricket, Blackwell Halt/Computers
G2 - Birdseye?
G3 - 3 Blind Mice, only snowballed?

G16 - Pete Robins, something on Rivelin Needle (can’t remember the name, think it’s E6)
G17 - Dave Pegg, MaDMAn
G19 - Flight of Ideas
-
G7- Between David and Messiah? Rotated pic?
-
G3 - Snow Blind Mice, always been above snow?
-
Lots of good answers so far. I'll post up a link to a version with all the answers in soon.
Any guesses on the couple sat on the rock (G8)?
-
I think I know that one - is it Ramshaw?

Googled that one... Dark.. very dark. :devil-smiley:

G5 .. I think I would have guessed it had a limestone crag on the cover. Checked this am. ;D
G6 Chew . Would be surprised if anyone got that... Super obscure!

Is there a copy of the crossword available?

Based on this I think I’ve guessed who, so is it Wimberry?
G10 - looks like Full Green Traverse/Dope on a Slope, maybe Seb Grieve?
G15 - looks like Dave Mac, but if it’s Bad Landing, I thought the holds faced the other way and don’t remember there being trees that close by. Maybe Ape Drape?
G20 - a. Stop, c. Lot, d. Wild Physique, no idea on b.
G21 - I’d guess Heather Wall or something like that.

Assume you mean L11
Check this one out too.

I can't place L10 though. Is it Dovedale or Manifold rather than on the Wye.

Just search "Francis Frith". The site has got loads of interesting pictures. I especially like the ones of Stoney. Another good source is Pictures of the past which is a Derbyshire council archive.
Unfortunately the site no longer seems to be managed and they don't respond to feed back when the information is incorrect.

Can't seem to open the link. (Other One worked fine)
Tried Chrome and edge

I can't access from work, but fine at home.

I’m the same, both work and home. Work blocks OneDrive access so that makes sense, but home worked fine for the other one and just hangs now.

Think rhe second is a different file format. I'll try again with the earlier format

Christ
-
There were 9 points available for the gear ID round, which isn't online.
-
79
Was that you? Effort.

A team of me, Fiend, Dave Parry, Graeme Hammond, Toby Archer and Graeme’s mate whose name escapes me now :sorry:
There were four other teams, two scored in the sixties, two in the twenties IIRC. A tough year for the hillwalkers this time!
Dave, Toby and myself are setting next year’s.
-
Worth noting that the person who masterminded getting DPiddy, Cheque and Hacker on the same team is a callous bastard. There were two teams of six, two teams of five, and one team of four which was slightly unbalanced. I think my favourite round was matching Limestone crags to their route name themes.
