Having scaled up my family to 2 kids but not my car, I find myself unable to fit my boulder mat.
I'm visiting the Lake District, does anyone know if it's possible to hire a pad for a day from one of the many outdoor shops?
I just want to squeeze in a couple of hours dadding about at Langdale Boulders and maybe Badger Rock. Otherwise I will go pad free I guess and just not fall off!

May be worth enquiring at Alpkit but not sure they do https://alpkit.com/pages/ambleside

For future reference if anyone needs a pad in the Lakes, Alpkit Ambleside could not have been more friendly and helpful.
They have 2 pads, a medium size one (Mujo) and a big thick one (Origin I think), £10 to hire for a day. I took the big one and it was great for thrashing around on the Langdale Boulders, fell off the top a few times.
Would recommend the pad and the store (and the Langdale Boulders!)
