I have a distinct lack of flexibility, i can't even get close to touching my toes.
My rigidness seems to be a mojor factor holding me back. Particuarlly my footwork, where i reguarly have to position my foot using my hand where others can easily place theres.
How can this be improved? Or is it just possible I wasn't designed to bend like others?

Try some yoga, lots of other benefits too in terms of core strength and body awareness.

word on the yoga. Good for balance too. And state of mind.
