Get well soon Shauna!

What a bummer.
On the plus side it's a good excuse to hang off a fingerboard for many hours.

I thought the same thing. Good luck to her with the healing, hope she comes back stronger.
Should watch "Broken Toe" for motivation.

The break was on a normal bouldering mat rather than an indoor mat but still, sad news. She's written about it here http://www.shaunacoxsey.co.uk/?p=515 (http://www.shaunacoxsey.co.uk/?p=515)

Bad luck. Breaking stuff is no fun.

Hey Shauna, sorry to hear about this. We ve both done a similar thing at a time when we had just hit form we were happy with and I must say we both came back a lot stronger and more focussed.
All the best with the recovery,
Jordan and Naomi

Maybe we can get The Sun to help is focus everyone's mind to heal the break a la Beckham's metatarsal...

Having seen some of the landings in these steep mountainside granite bouldering areas, I'm frankly surprised this doesn't happen lot more often. I haven't been to Magic Wood, but some of the ones in e.g. Zillertal look well scary.

I didn't even know she played cricket.
(sorry)

Saw Shauna last night and she was still training like a beast :strongbench:.
