Title: The Project Climbing Centre in Poole
Post by: Robsons on December 18, 2013, 03:42:03 pm
A gap in the area has been filled with a climbing centre popping up in Poole, Bournemouth.
http://www.theprojectclimbingcentre.co.uk/ (http://www.theprojectclimbingcentre.co.uk/) is upstairs in the Dolphin shopping centre. It used to be a sports complex and the building is house to a huge sports hall and many other gyms, massage rooms, weights rooms, squash courts etc, so a good building to choose.

I have been to the centre and the initial build (bouldering wall) is great. Varying angles - slabs, caves, 30 degree walls, woody, hanging slabs, vert, circuit...and campus boards, fingerboards, rings etc.

The setting was done by Andy Long, Rob Lamey and Fred Naish and it was quality. Had a great time down there, so if it is local to you, go check it out.
