Finger injury is not improving so gonna try and get referred by doctor to a hand specialist. I am proposing to suggest referral to Wrightington near Manchester as had good experience with my shoulder there - anybody been there for finger injuries or other recommendations? :please:

I've not had first-hand experience sorry! but http://www.mikehayton.com/about (http://www.mikehayton.com/about) is the gent I hear highly recommended by sports medicine professionals. Available on the NHS at Wrightington, or privately at Alexandra (South Manchester).

I have seen Mike Hayton for a wrist injury and would not hesitate to recommend him, although I saw him privately. I don't know what his NHS waiting list is like. It's probably fair to say he doesn't see many climbing finger injury cases though.
