Anyone with a crystal ball (or living local...) will there be much climbable tomorrow? Thinking of heading and not been before, but it is a bit of a trek if it is likely to be all slimy. Looking to climb easies to low 7s.

I'd say no. Although it's clean and quick-drying, this seems to be the worst drying conditions without it actually still raining: https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/gcw2bf8wd#2019-11-24 (mostly west-facing)

Going to give this a punt tomorrow - should have a couple of hours to dry before I get there. South west winds this time. Any thoughts?

Just back from an early evening lamp session at W3 up the road. It wasn’t that bad - so I think you’ll definitely have some dry rock - though there may be some seeps in Places. What do you have in mind? May be able to give you a more problem specific prediction.

I've never been before, and heading with the other half, so some easies (up to 6A), and a couple of low 7s for me to fall off. Any recomendations for quality reliably dry problems in any of that grade range welcome though!

Head up to the top end. Dries faster. Pigswill v soft 7A, Hanks wall. Stiff at 7A+. Lots of stuff up that end.
Lots of polish too :)

For anyone else interested it was gopping! One or 2 holds dry. on the whole crag. Wind wasnt quite in the right direction. One day I will go there!

Oh dear! That is unusual.
This is no help now, but for future reference perhaps...There are nearby backup options (on non shooting days Tues/Thurs/Sat) at Wilton 2 slab buttress and Wilton 3 square boulder. There are some excellent problems on these bits - worth checking out even if Brownstones is dry. Grades 5+ to 8A.
Also Wilton 1 (any day) Snakey B and Graveyard walls.
All the above are either fast-drying or rarely wet. Just down the road from Brownstones.

The wind was just blowing over the top, dead still by bottom of all the problems. The wall with the dynos on was the only one remotely dry, and even that was soggy on the majority of holds.
Will be back there one day, the run from Yorkshire isn't too bad.
Cheers for the backup knowledge, too many places to go!
