Title: Crag Stones - Forest of Bowland
Post by: r-man on May 19, 2012, 11:28:02 pm
I've put together a topo for a small moor-top venue not far north of Clitheroe. As far as I can gather, not much bouldering has been done here in the past, though some years ago Karl Lunt did standing starts to most of the problems (some of the names are his).

There's a nice circuit here in a beautiful location. A bit of a walk, but the rock is good and given its exposed location probably worthwhile in summer if there's a breeze. There's still one obvious hard project, the lower start to the steep face.

Forgot to say - the topo works in the lakesbloc style (fold the pages backwards at the middle, then staple the ends together).
