It was fun - not climbing very well, still felt stiff from thurs night training and only had 3 hours kip Fri night which didn't help. Kept raining on and off but just messed about on all sort of things, not doing many of them! Some really good slab problems on the spring boulders.

Saturday afternoon was perfect at Brimham, I stayed up on the pinicles and did not see another soul climbing or bouldering !?!?
Just one guy that had a brand new rockfax guide and had spent the day wandering around "looking" at problems.......what the fucks going on there then?

Not strictly bouldering, but for the record I went to Rivelin where it was sweltering hot. Highlight of the day was doing Roof Route - bo selecta.

Like my mate said, despite soloing 2 E4s that day, Roof Route was "by far the hardest thing he'd ever tried". Nuff sed.

Hot! Weird, it was brassic everywhere else - what's Roof Route then? I've not been to Rivelin for years although I'd still like to do Brush Off one day.

Rivelin is just a suntrap - i've been there in December and my climbing partnet was in shorts and t-shirt.

Roof Route is a Joe Brown roof-crack. Given HVS 5b, many people get smacked down and think its E1 5c or impossible. Bear in mind the difficelties are in a 4foot section so its quite fierce while it lasts. I've never done a jamming route before, so i was quite pleased to get up it.

The Brush Off is brilliant - go for it.
