Title: Tenting in Brione
Post by: andy_e on September 25, 2023, 07:43:32 am
Heading to Brione in my small van in a few weeks and a pal is wanting to join and stay in a tent. What's the best option? Apparently people pitch tents at the van spot, is this allowed and/or tolerated? What are the other options for staying in a tent? The nearest campsites look to be a long way away.

There were lots of tents pitched next to the van parking this winter, I think it’s tolerated. I seem to remember some basic info about camping on the camper parking noticeboard. Sorry this is vague but I think he’ll be fine. Local workers get very stressed about parking etc during the summer season because of all the tourists, but in winter and autumn they’re much more relaxed

Nice one, thanks for the info. She decided it was too cold to camp so we've now booked accommodation in a cave...
