Yo,
would imagine if you have a core of steel they may not be as useful, but anyone used them to help progress to a core of steel? Also anyone know of any Cheap places to acquire one?

Cheapest option would surely be the complete deconstruction of an existing dumbell and then partial reconstruction with only 1 plate? Or just use a barbell. This has always proved adequate for the 2 weeks before boredom sets in.

i think they are a nice all round excercise. very strenuous on shouders though, esp, if you do it as it should be done, i.e. on your feet, not on your knees. i like it.
