After suggestions for sensibly priced liquid chalk for fingerboard sessions at home.
My Simonds stock has run out. Can’t get a replacement batch.
So looking for something else to use.

Of the liquid chalks I’ve tried for my board, I think I like DMM the best.

I used to have the DMM stuff and really like it, but am a recent convert to Gecko. Leaves a really smooth layer and seems to stay on well.

Do you use it on wooden holds or resin? I would like to use liquid chalk on our board, but i find it is awful for wooden holds…
Or maybe it will make me try harder!

I use it for wooden holds. To be fair I don’t suffer badly with sweaty skin, so maybe someone else will have a different experience. I also use a little normal chalk if trying something really hard as it just is better than any liquid chalk.
I’m interested to try to gekco chalk next.

My experience is that liquid chalk is a poor choice for wood. Over time the resin reduces the friction significantly. I would suggest a chalk ball if you don't want loose chalk flying around. If this isn't enough to keep sweat at bay then you'll be better placed doing some skin conditioning with Antihydral.

I agree. Resin free liquid chalk would maybe not be so bad, but I am not sure it exists?

I might try chalk. I have notice my old lattice edge has a black build on it.which I’m going to replace.

Friction Labs' various liquid chalks are all resin-free, I think.
