I managed to snap the draw string on my cypher pants the other day,
has anyone got any advice on how to repair it or put a new one in?

Usual trick is thread a large needle with a bit of thick-ish cotton into the hole, work it through the string "passage" until you're out the other end. Then attach thicker string to the cotton and pull that through.
-
Or put the largest safety pin that will fit through the string home through the end of the string and feed it through. Obviously close the safety pin first.

I seem to remember Ty Landman 'flapped his undies' over his trousers when the drawstring broke on his trousers in the 'Between the trees' film. He looked pretty bad ass.

That's exactly what I've been doing,
works as a temporary fix but not long term.

I've just been doing exactly the same thing this evening, found a large knitting needle with some draw cord tied to it did the trick, just be patient threading it through.
