Amazing.

I posted before about this project scaring the shit out of me but it seems he did his usual trick and broke it down into it's component parts until he was certain there was no chance of failure. And then pissed it. I bet they are fuming on Cocktalk that there's no grade to argue about.

Nah, they'll just debate about what grade it should be.  And if it's harder that Indian Face.

And well done Dave, again.

This is an amazing achievement!
I hope this great effort is not overshadowed by a big debate on the grade of the thing!

the gayest thing about the grade discussion which is in full swing on cocktalk is that nobody has commented (yet) on the surely more controversial FOUR STARS he's given it. I thought that was only Great Western?  :-\

4 star routes do appear (infrequently) in SMC guides.

4 stars is a bit like.....
it just makes all the 1, 2 and 3* routes in scotland and yorkshire just that bit shitter than everywhere else.

There is one thing more certain than a crap grade debate on UKC and that is that someone here will start whining about the crap grade debate on UKC!

Anyway, well done Dave Mac!

I know it will be a big talking point but come on guy's lets not let in take the focus!

Great effort by Dave Mac BTW. Shows how far behind sport climbing, trad head pointing has been in the last 10-15 years since the era of JD's overblown E10s (which turned out to be F8a/8a+s with not too bad gear in some cases)...
