Sam and I went to Font at the end of March, these photos may be of interest to some...the photos are of Sam D on The Big Island, unfortunately at about 10.30 the friction was gone. (it was 22 degrees!) A Winter trip may be in order to get this!
During the trip he also had a look at Trip Hop - sorry no photos, maybe next time.

I once went to Blackpool and got the dj in that massive club that's now shut down (Syndicate?) to play Area Codes. Didn't go down too well with the chavs but I enjoyed myself on the revolving dancefloor. I also crimp slopers.
I'd ask for a thread in recognition but I've already got plenty.

That's nothing. I pinched the slopers, open handed the pinches and crimped the undercuts on none of the problems and routes mentioned, am also not from Blackpool and have even never ever been to font. :strongbench:

I got foodpoisoning from a bad hotdog in blackpool as a kid. I don't have any photos of it, although I was crimping the edge of the bog seat that night.

Interesting, I always open hand it and pinch the outer rim. Although when I was a kid my hands were probably too small. I've also never been to Blackpool.

A few years ago I rode The Big One in Blackpool. It took three courses of antibiotics to clear that up.

My Mum was attacked by a llama in Blackpool; the only thing she has ever crimped is the pastry case for a meat pie. I have never been attacked by a llama but I have crimped slopers, gastoned undercuts, and guppied monos. For the avoidance of doubt, neither of us have ever climbed Big Island.

I saw Keith Harris and Davina Maccall in the same coffee shop in Blackpool last year (true)! They were there separately. Keith was having lunch with his missus and Davina was making a tv show. I asked but neither have been to Font.

Erm, thats exactly what he did. Be user to be skinny, quit climbing and went training with the proliferation of meathead bouncers you get round thete, got massive and startee climbing again. crush.
An even more remarkable transformation happened to johnny who used to be literally a line, then quit climbing and turned into the bastard lovechild of dolph lundgren and grant Mitchell. Im not sure he ever climbed again. The influence of doormen and roids.

And ive been to shakin nick house, also in blackpool. though I cant be certain if he was there...it was hard to focus.

You can but if you want chips you need to ask for frites and they don't have ketchup with their frites, they have mayo, man they smother them in that shit.
Also if you want a quarterpounder with cheese you need to ask for a royale with cheese or possibly avec fromage. However in Blackpool you can get quarterpounders. Apparently.

Thats not in blackpool either... Just outside Blackpool. But close to blackpool. Not far from preston either. And about 8 hours from font.

A load of us went to see Ken Dodd in Doncaster after going to the races a few years ago. My mate who had orgasnised it was bigging it up saying how he goes on for hours and is hilarious.
My Mrs walked out and went to the bar after half an hour closely followed by me, another mate and gradually everyone else including the (now very sheepish) bloke whose idea it was.
Dodd was fucking shit.

First live performance I ever went to. I seem to recall him being upstaged by the diddymen. It wasn't in Blackpool though, I think it was just Poole.

I'm pretty disappointed that not only was I on both of these trips, organised both of them and supplied the transport and did most of the driving, I still haven't got a mention. I hate you all :'(

All this talk of Blackpool is making me nauseous. just for the record, I lived just outside, tho no where near Preston, which may or may not be worse. Ive been to font, tho not with Dense... or clm. Its a long way away now tho - thankfully so is Blackpool.
