Title: Tricky Wall- Caley
Post by: Polnedrane on August 19, 2022, 10:27:33 am
Anyone know anything about this? https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crags/caley_crags-540/tricky_wall-189555

Simply cannot be 6c if this is without the aretes. 4 sends in 30 odd years is weird for something in the main guides and in an area with a couple of classic problems....

No video beta knocking around either

Well it's too late now I did bother. Am I right on the grade? It's way above 6c right?

It's given 7A in the Cameron-Duff guidebook.

I imagine most people who've tried it had a similar experience to me; throw pad down expecting to do it in one or two goes, barely manage a move, quickly move on to something else.

I think I'll go for round two this winter though.
