Title: Almscliff/Otley bouldering and van doss advice
Post by: bolehillbilly on November 14, 2015, 02:47:56 pm
I've got a lunchtime meeting up in Otley next week so thinking of heading up late the night before to make time for a morning's bouldering rather than spending the hopefully dry daylight sitting on the M1.
I'm guessing Almscliff is the most reliable and recommended venue for a morning bouldering (?) but open to other suggestions if anyone has any.
Any advice on discreet park up spots would be also appreciated.

not been for a while, but the road that loops round Knotford Lagoons fishing lakes used to be a good overnight spot and not far from The Cliff

it's Old Pool Road (https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Old+Pool+Rd,+Otley,+West+Yorkshire+LS21+1EA/@53.9092623,-1.6616,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x487957fcfd9340db:0x5ae1f41408b7ee13)

Cheers.  That looks pretty handy for pastries in Otley too. Just need the rain to stop now.
