Title: Building a campus board
Post by: the_dom on June 01, 2004, 10:35:02 am
Sorry if this has been posted before (couldn't be bothered to look, to be honest), but does anyone have any tips regarding the building of a campus board?

Our landlord has OK'd it, and we've decided to get all Gullich on the boulders here so what's the four-one-one on it all?

Thanks
Dom

i've never built one......but i was thinking about it for a while and my resuearch seems to point at this for a "standard" layout:

4 foot wide board about 15 deg overhung
3 rungs wide (16" long rungs)
rungs vertically spaced 8"
large rungs 1 1/4" thick
mediums 1" thick
small 3/4" thick.
runges slightly planed incut.

might not be right but seems to be roughly standard.
