Title: Recaptcha - anti spam widget
Post by: northerngreg on April 05, 2010, 08:26:44 pm
Has anyone else had problems with sites using ReCAPTCHA (http://recaptcha.net/)? I was trying to book a taxi online, I filled the form in then scrolled down to find ReCAPTCHA wanting me to type in the two disguised words. The two words were 'circumstance' and 'ambiguous'. I typed in circumstance and ambiguous. I then clicked submit and it returned this message:

Quote
"cum found. Suspected injection attempt - we think you may be a spammer - mail not being sent."

WTF? Recaptcha wanted me to input a word that included one of its banned or 'hot' words! They want to pay their programmers a bit more me thinks.
