Can anyone tell me what evening conditions at Dinas Rock are going to be like given the current hot weather? Doable or a waste of time? Also is the 27 crags topo the best one online?

The top crag is lovely in the evenings, but a bit midgey. Bring some insect repellant.

The main crag page (http://www.southwalesmountaineering.org.uk/wiki/Dinas_Main_Crag (http://www.southwalesmountaineering.org.uk/wiki/Dinas_Main_Crag)) has a good picture topo at the bottom.
What are you looking to get on? When are you coming?

Ah right, bouldering (shame! ;)).

Cheers for the topo Chris. Will eye up the routes for another time ;)

Kennelgarth gets evening shade, and is one of the least "conditions-y" places I've ever climbed. Make sure you check out the bouldering at the main crag too - even if just at the end of a session.

Yep will do, been watching the vids.

On the subject of dinas, does anyone know if the cave project is still a project? I tried it when I was last down there and it felt hard but doable for the first section at least
