i just kept putting more tap round until it stopped but a freind used a hockey stick grip, its pretty comfy.
-
think I'll struggle to get a tap round it but thanks for the tip :D
Is hockey tape much thicker than strapell?
-
Do you chalk up to use it? I find it stops my hands slipping, which is what causes the bunching.

I just open-hand the bar, instead of gripping it with the thumb and fingers in a fist.
No slipping, no blisters and hopefully more climbing-specific.
Is that a stupid answer??

I'm not strong enough to lock off and do one armers with an open hand grip just yet

Cork handle bar tape from the local bike shop will do the trick. Failling that Xpedia.co.uk, should cost about £6-7.
