Anyone got any infomation on this, the description is a bit unclear? I only ask cos i'm just wondering how anyone get font 7c out of this bit of crag. From my experience its very difficult to contrive even english 5c here.

Is that the exact part of the crag where problem is?

YEah, Crucial Knee Jam is the left arete of the buttress from that notch, i assume it traverses the break from the slopers along right which is about 5b, (past the thigh of the guy climbing) and the bit of "arete, dyno and finish is a bit vauge.

The crack it finishes up is invisible on that photo but is in line with the arrow above, between the spotter and the obvious wide crack/arete.

I can see why you think it's a bit unlikely...anyone local to that area got a better idea? Might be that they filled the V9 in wrong on the problem form?

If a V9 has been done then fair dos and hats off to them, but i know from personal experience that without getting stupidly eliminate its difficult to get 7c-hard moves there. Plus i also think it would be nigh-on impossible to do something that hadn't already been done before, withought getting stupidly eliminate but from the description it doesn't sound like it is.

...and I've not got an answer, so for now it stays in as V9, until someone goes and discovers otherwise.
