the "bristol heel" has been a phenomenom that has been around for years and brought many an ascent into disripute. two other weapons in the armoury are the foot skidding across the mat n the kicking of the spotter. strange how these do not affect the ascencionists view wotsoever.

"i just dabbed the mat i didn't weight it, it made no difference"
"the spotter didn't take any weight off"
