Title: event: Autumn Photoshop competition

Just following on from this (http://ukbouldering.com/board/index.php/topic,16095.0.html), we'd like to fill the embarrassing empty left-hand spot on our clunky home page with a seasonal image. We are offering either the iconic UKB "dire" t-shirt (http://www.v-outdoor.co.uk/products/clothing/ukbouldering-dire-t-shirt.php) or a copy of thesiger's amazing (-ly obscure) UAE Rock Climbing (http://www.cordee.co.uk/cca395.php) guidebook for the best submission.

Rules:
1. background image should be at least loosely gritstone related
2. the UKB spotters  (http://ukbouldering.com/media/images/Spotters.png) must be included (see below)
3. please re-size as 400 pixels wide and up to 600 pixels high (yes, that's quite small)
4. upload them somewhere (Flickr, Imageshack, etc)
5. post them in this thread
6. off-topic submissions will not be considered in competition but may be rewarded with karma or a wry smile ...

The last Women's Beach Volley Ball Competition that I attended was in St Rafael and was in much better definition than that photo.

Anyway i started messing around with Gareth Hobson's photo of the millstone drytoolers, that was posted on the UKC news (http://www.ukclimbing.com/news/item.php?id=59279) article. I thought it might make people smile. Maybe not the wounds are maybe still too raw.

In an attempt to look a bit less dim than I appear to be, I hadn't realised that the comp had already finished at the time I posted my entry. I thought that the actual winning picture on the front page was a sort of "this is our competition, and this is an example of the kind of entry we are expecting" type of thing.
So when I inquired about the winner and was directed to the front page, I saw nothing new, hence my confusion.
I will accept a new rope and an unused pair of lasers as my prize.
