Post by: andyh on February 19, 2008, 11:54:35 am
i need to overlay a nice sunny sky onto an old climbing pic.

easy with photoshop, but i've only got the coreldraw suite and don't really know how to use it.

can anyone suggest the best way of going about this, as i cant work out the whole layers thing in corel photopaint? cheers

If your not familiar with Corel then you could do worse than using The GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/).  Its even had a face lift to make it look more like Photoshop, see GIMP Shop download page (http://www.gimpshop.com/download.shtml) to grab your free copy, which should be as intuitive as using Photoshop (if not there are various tutorials on using GIMP here (http://www.gimp.org/tutorials/) and there are tons of others out there on wikis etc.).
