Title: Aberdeenshire climbing
Post by: andy_e on September 03, 2020, 07:27:26 am
Hi all, just moved to sunny rural Aberdeenshire. Looking for people to boulder with, and easy aport/trad on sea cliffs and in the mountains, and also plodding up hills. I've been bothering SA Chris for a while but wanted to see if anyone else was around? Ta!

You might need to pass the highly embarrassing initiation test in which Wilson Moir bums you senseless with a dead fulmar and Neil and Dave recite a long list of ridiculously graded Aberdeen Coast trad horrors whilst you nod in agreement to each one, bogle-eyed with adoration.

Yeah, I know about NEO, but I've not got Facebook, otherwise I'd have joined!

Worth getting on, as any new local mini-guides are in the "files" section.

Still in denial about the fulmar insertion.

It's lubed with coastal grease from those mint connie haar days, Andy will have no problem fitting it in. Maybe a cormorant or two as well.
