Title: St Bees Head, Cumbria.
Post by: Bubba on July 12, 2004, 12:09:28 pm
An excellent venue - one of the nicest around.

See lakesbloc (http://lakesbloc.co.uk/) for more info and topos.

Top quality red sandstone in a great setting - also a load of sport climbing there too, some of which looks pretty good. The descent routes might be a bit iffy if wet and slippery.

Sunday we mostly went to the Bowderstone which was very good I thought, steep on slopers. You ever been to the B-stone?
