I always seem to get some dead space on the outside of my big toe. It's because it points towards the other toes quite a bit. A more symmetrical shoe should sort it but yet to find one that eliminates the dead space.
Tried Solutions, Instincts, kataki, vapour v, Tenayas. The new Hiangles look pretty symmetrical from the pics... Any ideas?

Scarpa Boostics. Very asymmetrical, big toe right at the edge.

Sorry, my post might not have been clear. I'm looking for something symmetrical with a central point. Not asymmetrical like the boostics.

Have you considered the Ocun Pearl LU? It's a much more symmetrical shoe than the likes of Sportiva offer. It's decent on an edge as well. The Ozone or Ozone Plus is a good option as well for a softer shoe.
Ocun in general have a nice fit for the greek foot (and they're a fair bit cheaper as well which doesn't hurt!).

Ahh… Unparallel Uprise VCS? Quite flat - push toes towards the middle rather than big toe?

I've got old Hiangles, they are the most symmetrical shoes I've had, probably why i didn't get on with them much.

I also have a Greek foot type. Sadly can’t get on with Sportiva shoes (other than Genius’ and Testarossas which are made to a different last) or Scarpas. Old 5.10s fit me well so I’ll be trying Unparalleleds. My only experience with a more recent model 5.10s is with the short-lived blue Quantum which were not a good fit for me.

The closest I’ve experienced to this were the 5.10 Verdon. I couldn’t wear them due to it. They only seemed to make them for about five minutes in 2016 though so may be hard to find.
My mate was wearing the 5.10 NIAD Velcros (new equivalent to Anasazis) a few weeks ago. He said that the pointiest bit was the second toe rather than the big toe so they might be worth a look.

If you read old climbing magazines, as recently as the 80s any climbing shoe or hiking boot review heavily features the concept of “the British foot”- an idea that all British people have wide feet and therefore shoes from continental Europe, where apparently everyone had narrow feet, were inherently unsuitable. It’s weird.

My feet are Greek but I prefer asymmetric shoes - most of my go-to shoes are aggressive Sportivas. I think it's because the shape encourages my long, Morton's second toe to curl over my big toe - reinforcing it almost like I'm crimping.

I see La Sportiva have re-released the Mythos (in old school purple, too).
Shoes don’t come much more symmetrical than the Mythos.
