Ey up. Not sure if this is news as such - sure it'll get moved if it's in the wrong place.
After a bit of Twitter back-and-forth the other Friday it's looking like we'll be following Dec 2011's excellent #ukbpissup with another such event, this time handily coinciding with the SHAFF.
So, Friday 9th March, at new improved Broadfield, presumably from about 7pm if it's anything like last time.
Non-tweeting UKB members more than welcome - see you all there.
Cheers!

When do you stay until Lore?
-
We'll drive down on Saturday after the climbing...
-
Don't worry Lore, there'll also be a bit of a post-CWIF do at the Broadfield on the Sunday night which should be a nice way to finish the weekend. Think we've got it until 2am with me and "Gallup" and "The Horse" supplying some House/ Tech tunes.

Awww shit. I always wanted to meet lee anderson. I'm the short guy with a margarita. About 3 stone overweight and with a tiny head.
-
After another bout of random messaging on twitter another #ukbpissup has been planned.
The plan is to go out Friday 28th September in Sheffield starting pub is still undecided but I imagine it will start around 7.30/8
I am driving down from Huddersfield if anyone wants a lift

Around Kelham Island area has been mooted as a venue, perhaps The Harlequin (http://www.theharlequinpub.co.uk/) (always a good selection of ales and ciders and the landlady is pretty keen on Gin too). Food is home cooked, good quality generous portions and cheap too.
Happy with other venues though.
-
I'd be keen for Kelham Island, any of Harlequin, Fat Cat, The Kelham Island would be well good.
If it's gonna be a long trawl for UKB's less mobile members, happy with a return to The Sheaf or similar...unless Lagers and Jasper want to "Andy and Lou" it over to the other side of town?
