Not strictly bouldering but a well-deserved big-up to everyones favourite purveyor of boulderin rags and general peak scenester Sam 'westie' Whittaker for doin his project at Wimberry at the weekend.

Appointment with death, E8/9 6c, climbs the wall of App.. with fear direct.

In truly legendary style Sam eschewed repeated top-roping and in fact never even did it in a one-er, prefering to put it all together on the lead.

He's no punter  

(a fact reinforced by the presence of six (count 'em!) cameramen!! No Dunnie-style doubting here!!)

We had 6 cameras pointing for an ascent of Orion in Kalymnos the other day! Talk about pressure... Luckily was flashed in true style
