No direct help im afraid but the Shelter stone always dries super quick... nothing above it to hold seepage.. (usual limestone caveats apply...)

I’ve been an hour after a heavy bout of rain and it’s been ok...

That's right, shelters tone does dry very quickly. I would add that a tarp might be useful if you're interested in shallow groove as if it's been rainy then sometimes a puddle forms in the landing zone. Also a couple of pads is better than one as the move to the top can have you missing one for the start. Caveat - I've no idea what the weather there has been like recently!
