You can try to get the 1st accent of dead bird wall at the Glorious Panorama crag.
At night drink Landlord int Birch.
And if it rains go explore Guy's cliffe woods.

Is Guisecliff ever in condition? fancied a day up there doing some of the longer routes - looked really imposing from across the Nidd when i was working in Glasshouses.
-
I live in Glasshouses, were ya workin' int mill?
It's been fine recently until it started to rain. Catches the sun early morning.
-
i was carrying out a site investigation on the footpath that runs just by the mill a couple of weeks ago. it's really nice around there - plan to move out that way when leeds becomes too much, the bakery in Pateley Bridge is amazing!
-
The path they closed while they were working where the old gasometer was.
Today could be your lucky day, my house!

Yeah, that's the one, wasn't actually closed, just had to escort people through the site while the rig and excavator were there - was brilliant how dissappointed people looked when they thought they couldn't get through after walking 9 miles!
So what about guisecliff - does it need to be dry for ages for the routes to be in condition?
-
The problem is it's North facing aspect and seepage from the Moor above. it certainly needs a couple of weeks after a lot of prolonged rain.
If you go and dont like it there is always Brimham.
The bouldering there is good as well.

It is - a fine example of how not to do it - Rolf Harris eat your heart out.......

Far better than my own effort - couldn't pluck up the courage to go for the top :( I'll be back though! You'll have to find an excuse to get some work in Leeds so we can get on the grit!

That would be most excellent - I'm sure I'll be over for a planning meeting before too long.
