We used to have this way back when the forum was run on phpBB but i've now installed it here.
When you're looking at a forum's list of topics, you can now mouse over the topic title and the first part of the topic text will be displayed as a tooltip.
This is really handy for quickly seeing what a topic is about without having to actually enter the topic itself.

Ok, some may remember this from back in the days when the forum ran on phpBB.
Now, would this mod be more useful if it displayed the first text of the last post rather than the first text of the first post when you mouseover the title?

I'd have thought first post- more likely to give you an idea what the thread is aiming for, rather than the usual off topic ramblings we all end up with :lol:

Agree with GCW - other boards I use preview the first post too.
