I find a good bit of speedcore gets the motivation up.

Seriously tho, I like the minimal techno / deep house they played a lot at the works - energetic enough to give a vibe, but not overwhelming nor distracting.

In friend's cellar was just a crappy casette player with a Chicane album in it, always associate it with training now.

Awesome thread, just don't let Fatdoc find it.
My all time classic- Rage against the Machine, eponymous album. So angry by the time "Wake Up" starts the holds just expand to avoid the beating they'd get if I fell off.

AH HA!

right...

At the mo it's either Lisa Lashes, Robert Miles (really..) or the classic stuff such as Darude sandstorm, josh wink, QT quartet... you get the picture - propeer anthemic rising dance music.. must be dance.. for the board.

for the road bike... linkin park, whole 3 albums on a loop.. or the prodigy.. esp the new stuff - not as good but better to sweat to. I rarely ride without an ipod. I am also a fan of Rage, Rise against et al..

* palms sweaty, heart rate rising.......* thank god tonite's a board training nite.. my top 5 problems are going down tonight.. on a rep cycle... 1st time I've tried this for about a decade. Get in.

Norton & Dolly are about to suffer.. my board = my tunes. house rule (pun)

I am the only one here who likes to listen to ambient/chillout whilst i'm bouldering/training?

Give me some old skool DJ Shadow or a bit of Amon Tobin anyday!

I'm also liking the psytrance. Eat static is a good half way house between psytrance and ambient music. Sounds odd. Good for psyche. Just heard an album called "back to earth" and its wicked.
I'm also a fan of the common garden trance.

Mat Zo is wicked...

For good psytrance look to Nano records. Most of it is pretty blistering. I like "the hoff" by dickster & pogo.
Dickster. Aka Dick Trevor/ Slinky wizard for all those that were into trance in the early 90's. Not that I was cause i would have only been 5. But that isn't the point...

Damn straight it is... perhaps we need a psytrance thread? I'm sure there are a few people on this forum who must like it. I often meet climbers at Zogg, met loads at glade as well in the psytrance bit.
