Hang your head in shame ::)
It must go BOOM BOOM BOOM about 170 times a minute
-
i can train to anything other than reggae as stom and saltbeef will attest
-
I find a good bit of speedcore gets the motivation up.
Seriously tho, I like the minimal techno / deep house they played a lot at the works - energetic enough to give a vibe, but not overwhelming nor distracting.
-
In friend's cellar was just a crappy casette player with a Chicane album in it, always associate it with training now.
-
Wu Tang Clan - Da Mystery of Chessboxing. Or anything off 36 Chambers album.
-
Awesome thread, just don't let Fatdoc find it.
My all time classic- Rage against the Machine, eponymous album. So angry by the time "Wake Up" starts the holds just expand to avoid the beating they'd get if I fell off.
-
most stuff by wolfgang gartner, especially: 5th symphony and firepower :goodidea:
-
How do you train your tunes? ;)
(to vs too (http://languagerules.wordpress.com/2006/09/07/to-vs-too-vs-two/))

AH HA!
right...
At the mo it's either Lisa Lashes, Robert Miles (really..) or the classic stuff such as Darude sandstorm, josh wink, QT quartet... you get the picture - propeer anthemic rising dance music.. must be dance.. for the board.
for the road bike... linkin park, whole 3 albums on a loop.. or the prodigy.. esp the new stuff - not as good but better to sweat to. I rarely ride without an ipod. I am also a fan of Rage, Rise against et al..
* palms sweaty, heart rate rising.......* thank god tonite's a board training nite.. my top 5 problems are going down tonight.. on a rep cycle... 1st time I've tried this for about a decade. Get in.
Norton & Dolly are about to suffer.. my board = my tunes. house rule (pun)

FFS. I'm bringing earplugs. And my own iPod.

minimal? WTF are you talking about? since when could any aspect of my life be called minimal
lets :dance1:
or... it's emo for you..
I'll give you 15 mins.. and it has to raise my heart rate, my serotonin levels and aid my desire to grip wood, hard. otherwise it's off...

I just grabbed some SpectraSoul, depends on your taste in DnB though. See this (http://ukbouldering.com/board/index.php/topic,10528.0.html) for samplers and this for more recommendations (http://ukbouldering.com/board/index.php/topic,12760.0/all.html).

I'm digging this: http://fortcollinsacupuncture.com/climbing/Round%20&%20Round.mp3 (http://fortcollinsacupuncture.com/climbing/Round%20&%20Round.mp3)
It has to be LOUD.
-
Say it loud say it proud ;)
-
I am the only one here who likes to listen to ambient/chillout whilst i'm bouldering/training?
Give me some old skool DJ Shadow or a bit of Amon Tobin anyday!
-
I'm also liking the psytrance. Eat static is a good half way house between psytrance and ambient music. Sounds odd. Good for psyche. Just heard an album called "back to earth" and its wicked.
I'm also a fan of the common garden trance.
Mat Zo is wicked...
Mat Zo - Lucky Strike | Full & HQ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngAtU6bXSYY#)
-
Infected Mushroom (http://eu.infected-mushroom.com/) are fairly good Psytrance (if thats not an oxymoron)!!
-
Any of the Sven Vath Season compilations. More so the 10th Season and 3rd Season, with Richie Hawtin.
-
high energy is vital to a training session try this
Enya - Sail Away(Orinoco Flow) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glyErSTQrDI#)
-
For good psytrance look to Nano records. Most of it is pretty blistering. I like "the hoff" by dickster & pogo.
Dickster. Aka Dick Trevor/ Slinky wizard for all those that were into trance in the early 90's. Not that I was cause i would have only been 5. But that isn't the point...
Dickster & Pogo - The Hoff (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1YpdE7lJjA#)
-
nice tune :dance1: :dance1: :dance1: :dance1: :dance1: :dance1: :dance1:
-
Damn straight it is... perhaps we need a psytrance thread? I'm sure there are a few people on this forum who must like it. I often meet climbers at Zogg, met loads at glade as well in the psytrance bit.
-
Dosage soundtracks.... CD extras include an option to sing along to the power screams!

-
I often train to a bit of eat static. Good to 'zone out' to.
Eat Static - Abduction - Prana (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8BOUtKe2dg#)
-
Bruce springsteen every time!
-
Some Old Tunes that still do it for me from "The Trip" soundtrack
desert voices remixes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpvDkUKTAts#)
Talisman and Hudson - Leaving Planet Earth (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MP09HkeRlXw#)
Luke Slater - Filter (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lid2CZJszgY#)
