Miquel Riera who coined the term "psicobloc" and spearheaded the development in Mallorca since the late 70s at least, died this afternoon according to local newspapers.

It says that the world of climbing is in mourning as the creator DWS has died, aged 56, of a serious illness. Does not say what it was.

Shit, that's really bad news. I went climbing with him a handful of times due to some mutual friends, he was a fantastic guy to spend any time with.
