Title: Five Ten 5X Sizing
Post by: Adam Lincoln on November 18, 2008, 12:25:25 pm
Yet another shoe sizing question i am affraid.
Anyone know how these size compared to say a dragon or velcro?

And any one used them and care to offer an opinion on them. Just after a warming up easy stuff boot, on and off easily.
Thanks

why insist on buying boots online? you can't possible get the best fit.

With the cost of boots getting more and more expensive, its the best way for me. It has done be no harm in the past. And even if i am half a size out fit wise, i cant say its going to effect my climbing. We don't all live in Sheffield were climbing shops are a plenty! I have to travel a fair distance to get to a decent shop.

Its a big gamble with 5.10.
Generally the supposed size doesn't relate to the actual size at all

I was thinking about this t'other day. Obviously Outside is the main one, but which other shops are there, who sell a proper range of climbing stuff? Decathlon doesn't count as they have a pitiful range.

Also I'd agree that trying shoes on is ridiculously important with 5.10. I know you know that already.
