I've bought some craft cycle clothing recently which is great for road activities. Their shorts are also somewhat cheaper than assos and seem to be just as high quality.

I've got some elastic bands that my postman kindly dropped beside my front door... they're useful for not getting my farahs caught up in the chainset... :)

to continue this - i have recently got a pair of Sidi genius shoes.
and...they are genius. gone are my tingling toes when i ride, i can feel the power improvement through the pedals too. all round very good, and very well made. try some on when you are looking for new shoes, then get them half the price from vive la vello on ebay!

I tuck my plus fours into my socks and put the flat cap on backwards for extra aerodynamics.
