Cheers James, how much does the main area suffer from seepage? Might nip over for a look tomorrow.

I grew up 5 mins cycle away - this must have been the first place I 'climbed', before I was a climbing. Funny to see it emerge as a bouldering area.

Nice one. This has answered something I have wondered about for a long time; I went for a look using the old Avon and Cheddar guide many years ago, and the little pile of crumbling crap I found was clearly not the right place!

I wish this topo existed when my sister lived on Edgehill Road, two minutes from the bay!

And when I lived in Bradley Stoke (Sadly Broke).

I believe I did exactly the same thing.
Locals should NEVER write the "how to get there" section of a guidebook...

Good effort for the topo but many of these problems have been done before and are documented with names in an old Climber or OTE magazine (i forget which) Can't remember off hand who did them but will find out. The arete on the boulders is called Seren i think, and goes from a sitter at V9ish.

I wonder if we all found the same pile of choss?

If we all followed the same directions, probably. It was 10 years ago, but I vaguely recall a low roof and a crumbly looking wall.
