Title: buildering my workshop wall
Post by: boulderingbacon on May 25, 2010, 08:27:14 pm
just done a problem on my workshop wall which is cotswold stone. there are places every so often with enough pointing missing to crimp  on.  the route i did is around the f6a mark so definately a good training route for crimp work.  its also good cos its fairly high, about 25 feet.

I've just made myself a cup of tea. I thought I'd have a biscuit to go with it, but it turned out we didn't have any.
I shall probably have to have a piss soon.

I'm drinking some white wine.  We had a barbeque on Saturday and a guest put it in the freezer to chill and forgot about it.  We found it on Sunday, I was quite surprised the bottle didn't break.  It's lost a bit of its taste though, so maybe tea and a biscuit would be better.

Makes me wonder though, if 1-5-9 is 8a+ then what grade is a pull up?

I really should go and get the washing off the line, its dark now. I'm fairly sure it'll be dry.

Not so much buildering and builderouting.
We expect audiovisuals at the very least.

Coco Pops for breakfast, but I haven't got many so I'm mixing them with Rice Krispies to make them go further.  Less chocolately but a fair compromise I feel.

just got up out of bed which has habitat sheets on. Had a cup of tea. There are tea bags every so often which leak tea leaves.  The brew i had is quite dark so definately going to wake me up for work.  its also good cos its ease the passage of the morning poo.

(its not that he's talking about buildering slackers, its the odd nature of the post - like a statement rather than a question or opening of debate, whatever - its funny)

Lots of people post things here that aren't questions or opening debate, viz. YYFY/NNFN threads, goals/aims for 20##, even the trianing thread.

Perhaps this is the nu-skool buildering training thread.

I just read this thread. There are jokes every now and again which make it funny. It definitely felt like a good training method for my laughter muscles. And it's also good because I'm not even high.

The YYFY/NNFN etc. threads don't open debate and aren't questions, but they do lead to discussion and a nice feeling of well-being. This thread just sort of did nothing but sit there... Strange.

I've just got into work, I was late because I decided to paint the office before I left this morning.
There's noone in the office today, as the administrator is semi-sacked (suspended) and the accountant has had a breakdown, so I spent 20 minutes making myself a frothy coffee.
I can't decide whether to have the fan on setting number 1 or setting number 2, or whether to swivel or not.

I'm wondering about the new Dyson fan - does shit just go straight through it?

Yeah, if fact it comes out the other end faster. So they could have called it the Dyson Shit accelerator (tm) but decided it wasnt catchy enough.

Jasper- wondered if you'd spot that :)

I've been wondering (for the last couple of days) what sort of noises Mariella Frostrup would make if I were to take her roughly from behind.

I've just had a bag of walker's salt and vinegar crisps. I've been buying the larger "grab bags" lately and have to say that after getting used to these, reverting to the old smaller size leaves me feeling disappointed and unsatisfied.

Interestingly, Mariella Frostrup said the same after Lagers took her from behind for the first time.
