Title: Craig y Forwyn conditions
Post by: mrjonathanr on July 10, 2023, 05:19:41 pm: Can anyone hazard an (ideally informed) guess as to conditions at Forwyn tomorrow? Has it seen a lot of rain/seepage over last few days?

Post by: petejh on July 10, 2023, 07:31:01 pm: Forwyn dries out more slowly once the leaves are out, but it is windy and warmish so it might be ok, slippy as ice on the lichen though if it is damp. Dunno on exact weather/connies though as I’m not based just down the road anymore since moving to beris.
Teal wall a decent back-up option if forwyn was damp, decent E2-4’s and 6s/low 7s, should be dry.

Post by: steveri on July 10, 2023, 10:55:45 pm: I was ferreting around at Ruthin yesterday in a thunderstorm. Stayed mostly dry under the steeps. Quite a bit of rain recently in NE Wales so it might be the seepage that’d get you.
