New search algorithm codenamed Caffeine (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8195739.stm) from Google improves the real-time search results, incorporating relevant news stories higher in the ranking etc.

Perhaps I've missed the ironic sarcasm (which wouldn't be the first time  :-[), but why not bing it?

Rather than start another google thread thought I'd throw this in here.

Google Squared (http://www.google.com/squared/search) returns a matrix of information on your search term.
