This is a playlist I made as part of an online quiz with friends during lockdown, and I've been adding to it since.
It's songs that don't mention the title in the song, but if you want a go you will need someone to start it playing for you without seeing the screen. Challenge is to get the name of the song exactly right. Carry on 'til you get bored or frustrated. There are over 50 songs, I would expect most people of around my age to have heard most, there is nothing totally obscure..

Good suggestion, but I expect everyone knows the name straight away.

I would expect to get max 3-4 out of 54 of these. If the title is not the first phrase of the first line as in a Tin Pan Alley song I have generally no idea what it could be. In fact, I am mystified that people who are not DJs know titles of songs. In songbooks I usually look up songs by first line.

Without wanting to state the obvious, it’s usually the lyrics in the chorus.
