Title: Pumpy routes in Frankenjura
Post by: abarro81 on August 23, 2022, 08:16:43 pm: Anyone have any good ideas? Ive done some of the more obvious ones, e.g. things at Illafels, Father and Son, Roof Warrior, Battlecat

7c-9a zone, also can't have too many monos or small crimps... I.e. the less franken the better :lol:

I think you've mostly done the steep/endurancy stuff that I've tried. Clockwork Orange (https://www.frankenjura.com/klettern/poi/13259) at Jules Verne Massiv is a nice 25m 8b without any grim holds from what I remember. I should go back and have another look at it really!

Post by: daddy long legs on September 25, 2022, 07:19:20 pm: Bit out of my pay grade, but you should check out 'Liebe ohne Chance' 7c at Obere Schlossbergwand and 'Starlight Express' 7c at Zwergenschloss. Both crags are two of the best and have plenty of harder routes to go at too.
